Don’t mind paying for this BHELPURI…

Hindi film industry is also a strange place, decades ago an Actor/Director Sachin made a film in Marathi “ASHI HI BANWA BANWI” which was inspired by Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s “BIWI AUR MAKAAN”. The Marathi movie was a Diamond jubilee hit and broke all the records in Marathi films. Producer /Director Subhash Ghai decided to cash in the success Sachin had got and signed him for his brother’s banner and made PREM DEEWANE. Unfortunately the later film dint make that much ripples as made by the regional movies by Sachin. Decades later ... » read more

this movie is an adaptation of a marathi film as well has shades of Apna sapna money money but some double-meaning dialogues and some lovely heroines does not add glamour to the film at all.only saving grace is shreyas talpade and johny lever and chunky pandey rest all go waste in the film.

The final scene which is a culmination of all classic films like "Jaane bhi do yaaron", spiderman , shahenshah and other films is only the saving grace of the film but the film is a useless commedy done by paritosh who earlier scripted Dhammal. But these had no meaning ... » read more

It was a fun movie .. .total entertainment from beginning to end !
A refreshing change after a long gap....Shreyas Talpade looked very cute in his feminine attire...though it was the usual same old story we see in most of the comedy films, the picturization was so good that it kept the audience roaring with laughter....it is said to be copied from a Marathi film but these days which film is original or not inspired or copied from others. Each and every actor had performed well ..specially Johnny Lever...but I have to agree with Dr Prachi that Javed Jaffery was a mis-fit ... » read more

Paritosh Painter wanted to "paint" the edifice of Ghai's Mukta Arts with the panorama of fun, fads, follies and foibles in order to bring forth comedy to sweep the members of audience. The effort, if not fully prolific, is not bleak either. Inspired by Jack Lemon's "Some Like It Hot", "Paying Guests" involves round four young men ( Shreyas Talpade, Javed Jaffrey, Ashish Choudhary and Vasal Seth), three of whom fired employments, are pestered by the house-owner(Asrani) to vacate the house.
In course of their quest for a new shelter, they happen to come by an abode, ... » read more

Waste of time to watch this movie

This is a movie which tries really hard to make you laugh but is quite unsuccessful in doing so. Johnny Lever is wasted in the role of a Punjabi Restaurant owner. Javed Jaffrey, Ashish Choudhury and Vatsal Seth look extremely uncomfortable playing their characters. Shreyas Talapade has done the female transformation in so many films now that there is no novelty in his character. The women are completely wasted and have no role to play except hang around the men and look good. Don't watch it and waste your time. » read more

This film is not bad actually, but not so good also. The story is not that great. The comedy, the humor is not that hilarious. But still it’s an Ok-Ok type of film. You will laugh at some scenes but you will also yawn at some scenes. Many double meaning dialogues were entertaining but it was not unique, in many films we have heard these kinds of double meaning dialogues.
Although you guys might be knowing the story of the film but still some in brief. Javed Jaffery, Shreyas Talpade, Ashish Chowdhary and Vatsal Seth are closest friends since childhood. Javed wanted ... » read more

This movie is nothing but just a total time pass. I went with my friends and believe me I had lots of fun. Ya but that’s true that this film is only watchable with friends. And if you are planning to just hangout with your buddies then this is the film I would recommend. You will have total entertainment. In many scenes I was just not able to stop my laugh. My friends were saying “she has gone mad!” my favorite scene was the play scene which happened in the climax. Although it might be even more funnier than what it is now but still it’s hilarious. Ahmmm, about performances, ... » read more

I liked the film, but can’t say liked very much. As I guess it was but obvious expected that it’s not the much expectation film. Especially when I saw the Mukta Arts banner, I thought “ek aur bakwaas”. Anyways, this film has nothing new to show, same old repeated comedy scenes, same old double meaning dialogues, same old theme guy in a disguise of woman, but still this film manages to laugh in some scenes. I felt that editing of the film was pathetic. Kahan ka cut kahan jump kar raha tha? Running shot mien effect? Will give just half point for the Post Production team.
