This is the first Bollywood movie, which was shot in North Pole, and possibly no Hollywood movie has been shot there.
Abhishek Bachchan, on a promotional tour for his upcoming film 'Players', took time off to visit the shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer after a gap of seven years.
As part of the promotion, the Players team organized a mock robbery on a Delhi Metro train.
Sonam Kapoor had some difficulty in getting in the Mini Coopers due to her height and also driving it, as they are automatic cars. She banged her car into a truck on the first day.
Neil Nitin Mukesh shot for a sequence using a real M20 Super Bazooka (anti-armour), weighing 6 kilos and about 5ft in length. The director and stunt director were sceptical as Neil had to stand on ice, which could have cracked. So, they put a wooden platform to avoid any untoward accident.
Like in the original movie, The Italian Job, in this movie also, they have used iconic Mini cars for a traffic jam scene shot in Wellington, New Zealand. Abhishek Bachchan had some problem getting into the small car, though.
This film is a remake of the Hollywood Movie 'The Italian Job'.
While shooting in New Zealand, it turned freezing cold and every one wore a black jacket. But Abbas Mustan refused to do so, as they wanted to stick to their white costumes, as they also consider it lucky. Finally Abhishek Bachchan went and convinced them to wear the black jackets.
