Swapan Saha has given us nother pot-boiler “Poth Jodi Na shesh Hoy” in the third quarter of 2010. This time he has introduced us with his debutant heroine Vaaniya who can’t act at all.
The story revolves around Titli (Vaaniya) who has lost her part of the memory due to a car accident. She can remember everything, but she has forgotten the memory of last three years. Don’t ask whether it is possible or not, but Swapan Saha has tried a lot to convince the audience that this is possible.
So Titli is transfer from Shiliguri to Kolkata for higher studies in a co-ed college where Anirban (Bhaskar Chatterjee) is the only professor. Here she meet Aranya (Rishi) as her class-mate and later she finds that Aranya lives in the house just bang opposite where she stays. She stays with his Uncle (Ramen Roy Chowdhury) and Aunt (Papiya Adhikari)as desired by her father Mr Sanyal (Rajatava Dutta). Mr Sanyal is in a fishy business as we find him always surrounded by some goons. He never allows any one of his family to disobey him. As his sister disobeyed him and married a person, his goons killed the man. He wants her daughter to be married with the son of his old friend (Pradip Mukherjee).
But Titli is in love with Aranya. One day while Titli fell pain in her brain, she was immediately contacted with a doctor. The doctor reveals that due to the past accident she has now for got the past memory, but if that memory comes back by chance, she will forget the recent memory, that means she will forget Aranya.
And it happens like that. She forget Aranya and is ready to romance and marry the guy selected by her father. But Aranya is adamant to bring back her memory, so he has to fight with dozen goons of Mr Sanyal single handedly. But at the end the would be husband of Titli saves the situation for Aranya. He convinces Mr Sanyal that Aranya really loves Titli. Titli also realizes that, even without her lust memory being brought back.
Tishi has tried his best to become a jr:-Jeet or Jr:-Dev. He is tolerable, but his lady-love Vaaniya is quite miserable. Rajatava is as usual and so the others. Rocket Mondal has scored the music, probably he had lost his earlier magic-touch, like the leading-lady of the film.
