Hironmoy Choudhury at a very young age had become addicted to alcohol. He was going to Shyamganj fair with his friends. On his ray his car hit Tunu, the granddaughter of Sadananda. Hironmoy was bound to take her to own house. Sadananda getting that news went to the jamindar house and not only brought back Tunu with him he also managed five hundred rupees to be spent in Tunu's marriage and a job in the estate. As Sadananda got the job, Haradhan Sarkar eventually lost his job. But ultimately Haradhan did not loose his job as Hironmoy found Haradhan's daughter Pratima was very interesting. But incidentally Pratima refused him. At that time Sadananda informed that his grand daughter Tunu was missing. Tunu's marriage was finalized but as she spent one night in Hironmoy's place the marriage was cancelled. So being dejected Tunu had left the house. When Hironmoy found Tunu, she was about to commit suicide. Hironmoy not only prevented her from committing suicide, but married also. Hironmoy and Tunu's married life was not very placeful. So Tunu died while giving birth to his son. At last Pratima came back and took the responsibility of that child.
