This week introduces us to yet again another pair in Hindi films –Prateek and Koel. They start off with a tragic love story and one is afraid that is a big risk to start one’s career. The story is like this:
Prem and Bonny are brother and sister and stay with their father as their mother has passed away. One day their father marries someone and comes back home, but his children don’t accept her.Prem goes away to the hill out of Kolkata where he comes across a girl named Anjali and falls in love with her. Her father is against the relationship and fixes her marriage with the son of the village goon. Her father later realizes his mistakes and asks someone to call Prem from Kolkata.Prem has a row with the goons and gets injured. The son of the village goon picks Anjali and takes her away somewhere.Prem comes to know and goes away to rescue her. Later on the village goon bumps off both Prem and Anjali

The lead couple is probably just okay, at least better than the rest of the pairs who have been introduced in the past couple of months.Koel though is a pretty sight. The storyline isn’t great and the music okay. Some absurdities exist, like for e.g. when Prem comes to know that Anjali has been kidnapped, he immediately rushes there within a jiffy right from his hospital bed and there is no sign of any injury/scar/bandage on his forehead in any form.Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!A few other absurdities are there as well. The projection of the film would have been if the film had not turned out to be a tragedy.
