    This is unbelievable that this is actually a real life story. Don’t know why that the story of this movie resemble me one of our Bollywood film. Can’t figure out which one, but if you can please let me know.

    The story of the film goes like this;

    This film is actually based on the era 1933 where a guy name ‘John Dillinger’ (Johnny Depp) was very famous for his Bank Robbery. He was so smart, so sharp and so fast that even the FBI was unable to catch him. And if by chance they succeed in doing that, he escapes very fast. He was having his own attitude, values and has his own style of doing work, and that’s why he was not less than any celebrity. A quite famous goon. And that’s why this is the story of about a villain, and not a hero, but a hero to a nation.

    John Dillinger and his associates often rob the bank, but he was also a murderer. The very first scene of the film shows us that how he escapes from the Jail along with his associates. After that one fine day he met one girl in the party or something and became his girl after that. This action film involves a bit of love story also. Anyways, now but as usual FBI was after this John Dillinger and his associates. They appointed an FBI agent to catch him dead or alive, his name was Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale). He was a very genuine person and also very lenient. He was trying his best to catch him alive, after that the law will punish him. And one fine day he also succeeded in doing that, but escaped as usual. Now FBI became more strict as all the media people were questioning them. They gave the orders to their officers for shoot at sight. But Mr. Purvis was trying his best to catch him alive, so that his life would at-least be saved. Now I guess, everybody must have known the climax. He was obviously was shot to dead by the FBI’s, but before he went down he had seen a film and in that film he got all his answers indirectly resembling the scenes from the film to his real life. That Mr. Purvis is actually trying to save his life, his love loves him so much, his end is very soon, and etc.

    It’s almost a 2 ½ hour movie. The first 30mins is a bit slow, but will get you in the mood. Before the first half, you will find the movie an Ok type of, and also you will think once to skip the movie. But right from the beginning of the second half, till the last frame of the film, I am not getting words to describe. Outstanding, marvelous, brilliant, whatever you would like to say, but it’s much-much above than this description.

    All I can say is that, this film is an outstanding with outstanding performances. Don’t miss it, by any chance.
