Priorities for Qasam Se Qasam Se are clearly defined: More than focusing on the nitty gritties of film making, the movie is a launch pad for Azim, son of daddy-with-the-dough, producer Nazim Rizvi. Now, Azim does deliver... for starters. But does that mean it's okay to make a film full of humourless one liners, a never ending emotional drama and a will-the-love-birds-won't-the-love-birds ever be together suspense?more

Nobody’s listening of course. The students are busy making many inappropriate sexual gestures towards this teacher, then moving on to Rose Day, Chocolate Day, Festival Day, Mr College Contest, canteen antics, pool picnics in agonizing detail and terrible music. After a love triangle fracas (the heroine’s name is Faith Mehra!), an unjustified arrest and encounter attempt, and an even more needless elopement and ensuing college fightmore

From its title to theme, Qasam Se Qasam Se seems like a desperate attempt to revisit the classic love story Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Young lovers separate from their families to come together and, by the end, die in love. The only difference here being death is caused by the HIV virus. Perhaps the makers felt this 'germ' of an idea was ground-breaking enough for them to redesign the film in contemporary context. Alas it only lives up to the title of its inspirationmore
