    Rajeshwar (Dharmendra) is an underworld Don with a kind heart. He helps the poor people. Once he saved Ram Lal from Lobo (Narendranath),so he becomes Rajeshwar's enemy and meets with Kaalia (Shakti Kapoor), Kaalia starts attacking Rajeshwar's smuggling property. Rajeshwar is actually Shyam who had once loved Geeta (Jaya Pradha) but Dayal (Gurubachan Singh) had killed her and Shyam was left distraught. When he finds Dayal, he frightens him so much that Dayal dies of a heart attack. rajeshwar is very intelligent and the Police never get their hands on any proof to nail him. They call A.C.P.Kamal (Shatrughan Sinha) from Delhi. Kamal is childhood friend of Shyam's. Shyam had done a lot for Kamal so that Kamal could pursue higher studies and become a police officer. But as fates conspire, Kamal is appointed to catch Shyam. Maakhan Seth along with Munnibai (Bindu) makes up a situation in which he traps Rajeshwar in the rape case of Shyama (Tamanna). Kamal finally arrests Shyam and then he is sentenced to 7 yrs jail. Shyam gets angry with Kamal and warns him that he will rape Kamal's sister Sudha (Poonam Dhillon) once out of jail. What will happen after 7 years? Will Shyam really rape his friend's sister? What about the real culprits Maakhan & Munnibai, what will happen to them?
