Yashraj films are famous for the melodiousness and variety of music scores in their movies. However, even though a RNBDJ fails to take me back and relive the magical days of DDLJ.. it has heart-warming music- oh yes! it has.. do check it out..
"Track -Tujme Rab Dikhta hain"- It sure did remind me of Veer Zaara days and Roop Kumar Rathod has still been my favorite let alone his Gazhal scores... Mr Rathod did rock in this one and dint fail to mesmerize me !! Shreya ofcourse was her melodious extreme in its female rendition.
"Track- Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte"- This track has it all- or as they say Variety is the Spice of life.. Through Sonu's magical yet effortless rendition - i relived the 'awaara' in Raj Kapoor, the 'evergreen' in Dev Anand, the 'Yahooooo pagla kahika' in Shammi Kapoor, the 'incurable romantic' in Rajesh Khanna or the 'chocolate loverboy' in Rishi Kapoor- what an ultimate musical homage! full marks to Sonu, the music directors and the lyricist.
"Track-Haule Haule" was at its subdued, simple and restrained best. totally matches with Shah Rukh's 'underdog' image of Surinder Sahni..Sukhwinder delivers accordingly!
"Track- Dance pe Chance" makes you take a chance to be able to dance in its own magical way- Sunidhi Chauhan does a commendable job to make this one a hip hop POP.. Guys, try it out at home -Dnt miss this Chance.. :)
at the end of the day- good hummable scores on a CD which i always carry when i drive- It does pep me up each day!
      5/5
