Raja and Ram are orphaned twins taken care of by their young sister Parvati. One day, the dacoit Sher Singh(Prem Chopra) comes to their house, and is smitten by Parvati(Aruna Irani) and takes her away. She hands over the upbringing of the twins to their trusted servant whom they call Chacha(David). She tells him to inform her brothers that she is dead. Time goes by, she has a son named Deepu. She and Deepu are ill-treated by Sher Singh. In the meanwhile Raja grows up and wants to become an actor. He learns horse riding, fighting skills and acting. Ram becomes a police inspector. Raja falls in love with a girl called Rani(Sulakshana Pandit) whose father is a retired CID inspector(Om Prakash). Once while chasing the dacoits, Ram kills Sher Singh's brother. Sher Singh vows to take revenge. Ram comes to know of Raja's love and promises to talk to Ram's father. While going through some old files at the police station, Ram finds out that his sister Parvati is alive and with Sher Singh. When he is coming home with this news he is killed by Sher Singh. Raja decides to take revenge. He helps the police by acting like Ram and reaches Sher Singh's place. He meets his sister Parvati and her son Deepu.
