Rajendra rating: 7 out of 10(srinivas vangaveeti wrote on 24 Dec 2011)

Dr.Haranath Policherla in his directorial venture selected a subject which is close to his heart. This is the story of Rajendra ruffian who looses his dear wife. She saves him from death and she dies. Rajendra is a self made man who inculcated the work culture to the slum area people. He realises the need of organ donation and he donates all his organs to the needy. Story wise it has its heart in place. Dr.Haranath Policherla with his multi talent tried writing the dialogues and also lyrics. Its his best work in all departments. He has improved in dances and dialogue delivery. Rajendra didnt look like his debut directorial venture. His command on the script and screenplay is evident. Its a must watch.
Heroine Gauri Pandit is very apt and she is looking so beautiful. After aandhrudu she doesnt seem to have got good roles. She performed to the role. The other heroine Jayathi is ok. Mumaith Khan sister looks like mumiath.
Krishnudu played a supporting role and he provided some laughs. Though the other comedians like venumadhav, ali, brahmanandam are also in the movie their relevance is little to the story. Ali managed to provide some laughs.
Camerawork by Sarat needs a special mention. Thotakoora basti set and few more locales are so beautiful.
This film Rajendra is made with a good intention and you can watch with good intention.
