Rajabahadur Saradaranjan had immense wealth. And his son Kumar Bahadur Prakash Chandra was born to spent money exorbitantly. The old King threatened him but his son did not care a fig for that. The King was very much disappointed. He ordered his son to leave and disowned everything - his name, money title, dignity, property etc.Even he must leave the place.Rajkumar Prakash Chandra looked like a vagabond. He left the place for an unknown destination with an ordinary suitcase. In the course of his trouble, he was very much tried. He stood in front of a beautiful picturesque house. This house belonged to an eccentric painter. The unmarried Anu ,elder daughter of the painter took care of him as she was in -charge of running the family .She was also the guardian of her younger sister Niru and Youngest brother Ashim in the absence of their dead mother. In their house two tenants Pramilabala, a school mistress and another simple innocent goldsmith from East Bengal named Krishnagopal,Rajkumar decided to stay here as a a tenant. So he rented a room there or rupees ten.Inept and while handling domestic work Rajkumar caused a fire in the room while trying to ignite the stove. He himself burnt his fingers. It was a boon in disguse for Rajkumar. After this Ashim and Neeru came to him with tea and ssid ? didi? had sent for you.As a result he became intimate with Ashim and Neeru.
