    Mili(Urmila Matondkar) is a simple middle-class girl who works as a dancer in Hindi movies. Mili has always dreamt of making it big in the movies as a leading actress. Mili's only best friend is Munna(Aamir Khan) who is totally against Mili working in movies. Munna has always loved Mili from childhood but has never had the courage to express his feelings.One day Mili goes for a dance practice at a beach. A famous star actor Raj (Jackie Shroff) notices her talent. Within a few days Mili is approached by him and is offered a lead role in a big movie. Mili feels at the top of the world. She takes help from Munna to prepare herself for the auditions. She finally bags that role. Munna does not like it but he decides to keep mum for Mili's happiness.During the shooting Raj develops a liking for Mili and soon he realises that he is falling for her. Raj decides to propose to Mili during the shooting at Goa. On the other hand even Munna is planning to gift Mili a wedding ring. Mili has only one thing on her mind - her first movie. At a birthday party Munna notices that Raj is interested in Mili and decides to step back. Munna knows from his heart that he can't compete with Raj. Raj on the other hand comes to know that Mili is more concerned about Munna. What happens to this love triangle? Watch further to know...
