Rock On, is a movie based on the story of four friends who put together a great band.

Joe Mascarenhas (Arjun Rampal) is an idealist. A reserved guy, he lets his guitar do the talking. His loyalty towards his girlfriend and his band makes him the hero.

On the other hand, Kedar Zaveri (Purab Kohli), who calls himself K D, is the - Killer Drummer. He comes from a successful jeweler family. His father and he don't see eye to eye on most issues. On stage it may look like he is slamming those drums with a vengeance but actually, he's that is his way of breathing.
