We have people rushing to see an SRK or an Aamir Khan production, but why are the seats empty in better movies in those days like Paa, Kaminey, and Rocket Singh? Why aren’t there those FIGHT for the tickets yaar?
The movie deals with the issue of business ethics - especially ethics in sales and its importance in customer relations. The hero - who is almost a failure in studies, but has very high moral standards, tries to fight and survive in the dog-eat dog world of selling assembled computers.
The story line is taut, focused and do not deviate from the main theme, the direction is excellent
The movie scores so much on its original theme, which is totally missing from Bollywood these days and on top of that Acting Skills which are displayed by its all the actors specially Ranbir Kapoor and Gauhar Khan is really commendable.
Ranbir Kapoor proves yet again that he is completely capable of carrying a movie on his shoulders. Taking to his roles as a fish to water, his talent is undeniable. Debutante Shazahn Padamsee doesn’t have much to do in the movie. In supporting roles, Naveen Kaushik as the sales manager with the long side-burns and the role of Giri are very well scripted.
In all, Rocket Singh sells itself to you as ‘values’ for the money you've spent, either on theatres or on DVD!
I would suggest buy the DVD now if haven’t watched it in a theatre, and if already watched it, then also buy it, it’s a good piece of collection!
