My Rating

  • Typical Ramsay Movie…

Rokkk rating: 3 out of 10(Aakash Barvalia wrote on 11 Mar 2010)

Rokk is a story of one house who is being cursed mistakenly by one lady. And now just because of her curse, many innocent people were getting killed who stays in that house or who even passes through the shadow of that house. Now as usual, in every typically Ramsay kind of horror movie, there is one tantrik baba who helps the victim by free from evil spirits.

The story starts of with Tanushree Dutta who is being declared as mad and is being arrested by Police in killing her husband and his respective sister. Tanushree called her sister, Udita Goswami, pleading for help to save her from evil spirit. Udita investigates the whole case along with one CBI officer, Shaad Randhawa, and later they both found out the whole story behind this evil spirit, who is small little girl, but very dangerous, and why is she killing all the innocent people. Along with Udita and CBI officer, one tantric baba, Arif Zakaria, is also helping them.

If you’re a fan of Ramsay Bro’s movies, then you would definitely like this movie a bit, but not whole, as now this kind of movie is out-dated. But still if you’re getting bored on some Sunday afternoon or something and having a mood of watching some old kind of horror movies, then you can definitely switch it to this one for just the sake of time pass, but ofcourse not on theatres :-)

If you would compare this movie with Ramsay movie films, they would find almost same, similar and identical. The style, the story, same kind of continuity mistake, same type of horror sequences, old kind of graphics and special effects, climax ending, and just etc.

But Ramsay bro’s movies is a legend and no matter how much people try to copy or get inspired from their movie, their taste are unique and they entertain us more, still and anytime, than any other such movies.

Direction by Rajesh Ranshinge was Ok; Music was passable and performances were just below average. Thank goodness talented actor like Sachin Khedekar was just there in the film for only about 15-20mins overall.

    Final verdict:
Watch it for once if in a mood but only if you are some fan of Ramsay Bro’s movies; otherwise watch it Ramsay movies only ;-)

    1.75 / 5
