Plot Summary: Shiva is happily in love with a girl. But one day, a child claims that he is her father. Later he discovers that she is the daughter of an IPS officer Vikram Singh Rathore who is his long-lost twin. Rathore is killed by some gangsters, and Shiva decides to take revenge.

  Rowdy Rathore is an action film directed by Prabhu Deva starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Rowdy (Akshay Kumar) is a guy who is crazy about daredevilry and is a small-time thief. He gets the shock of his life when a young girl claims him to be her father.
  
  He starts finding out the truth behind the claim and discovers that the girl is the daughter of an IPS Police officer Vikram Singh Rathore. Vikram is the long-lost twin of Rowdy. The two meet with great excitement and also shock but Vikram Rathore is confronted by underworld-gangsters who then murder him right infront of Rowdy. Interestingly Rowdy steps into Vikram's position in order to find out who his murderers were and why they killed him.
