This is the story of about two people Pooja ( Pooja Bhatt ) and Suraj (Vivek Mushran). Pooja is a girl who is very mischievous in nature and stays with her uncle Dev (Shankar kapoor ) since childhood. Suraj stays with his mother. Pooja was suffering from a fatal disease which was gradually becoming worse, however, she was not aware of this. Dev admits her in a hospital. Suraj's mother was also admitted in that hospital as she was also ill. Suraj did not have money for the treatment of his mother. He decides to go to their land-lender who had forcefully captured their land. He requests them to give him only the money needed for the trearment of his mother against his land. However, they start fighting with him and in the fight, the landowner is killed by mistake. The police catch him and he is put into jail, and subsequently, sentenced to death. He then runs away from jail and takes up the job of riding a bike in 'Maut ka kuwa'. He meets Pooja and they becomes friends. She had also run away from the hospital to live her life fully. She tells everything to Suraj. Since, both of them have a short life ahead, they decide to live their life fully. Suraj was fulfilling all her wishes using the money he was getting from riding in the 'Maut ka kuwa '. What will happen in the end ? Will Pooja and Suraj really die? Will Suraj be caught by police? A good emotional story.
