"This film is based on a woman's life - a simple house wife called Manoshi (Amala Shankar) lived with her husband Jatin (Santi Mukharjee) and a son Jaymalya (Jishu). She spends her entire life for her family but her son Joy did not realise that. Joy was a modern singer and he had lots of rich friends. Joy always insults his mother. Manoshi tries to admire her son but he had not realised any thing. Joy always ridiculed his mother to his rich friends. One day Jetam & Manoshi used Topuri and suddenly they met with a professior (Sabbyasachi Chakroborty )They shared a good friendship . Jatin told that Manoshi was different. She had lost of knowledge about mucis style poem after coming back from Puri. Jatin holds an adda at his house. He can not accept that Joy loved a rich girl Romila (Tina). Romila's parnts told Joy that they thought Manoshi had a relationship with thje professor. Suddenly Jatin was ill and he died after thet. Joy is now in persuit of profession and Manoshi arranges for Joy to marry Romila and decided to go to America. After Joy's marriage Manoshi left the house with the professor. He wants to bring her at home but Manoshi did not agree with that. He encouraged Manoshi to go back home but she disagrees. The professor leaves the plcae withhout informing Manoshi. She is shocked and becomes a mental patient. She gets admitted to a mental hospital .
