Shankar is the boy whose life is driven by the deeds of some of the women in his life. Destiny was not fair to him. Born in a rich family he got all the love and luxury a person could ask for, a loving father, caring maid and a friend, Kamala who was the love of his life. But all of this was over shadowed by his greedy and selfish mother. After his father's death, his mother splurges not only all the money in the house but also Kamala's wealth. She then tries to get rid of her by sending her to an orphanage. The two young lovers are separated. But Kamala escapes and lands up at a temple to become a Shiv Pujaran. On the other hand, Shankar who is also deeply in love with Kamala isolates himself from the world in such a way that he hates women, money and has turned into a notorious rich thakur who is always throwing money on the women he plays around with. As it was destined, Kamala and Shankar meet again. The love and memory of their childhood love are still strong, but fail to recognise each other. Shankar falls for Kamala's beauty and seeing this Kamala can't believe that her Shankar could ever be so evil. But that's not the true image of Shankar. As the movie story proceeds, the darkness in his life and the hollowness created by Kamala's absence is revealed. Realising the undying love that Shankar has for her, Kamala breaks all the strings with the so called holy path that she had chosen for herself and, decides to marry Shankar. However, Shankar's dark past raises its ugly head again, in the form of his mother. But this time, life will not be easy.
