Say Salam India is a film about cricket, and story revolves around four boys Viru, Mahi, Shakeel, and Goori and their passion for the game. The boys come from humble backgrounds and limited resources but what they have is a zeal for the game and natural talent. They study in the local co-operative school where most important sport is wrestling and coach by Surinder Huda (Manoj Pahwa), who hates cricket. At the same time there is an elite school "Royal Heritage" in the state capital. Principal Goswami (Sachin Khedkar) of Royal Heritage brings Hari Sadu (Sanjay Suri), a cricket fanatic. His new job is to coach royal heritage team to win their sixth state championship, but he faces a stiff opposition to his coaching methods by the head strong, arrogant member of school team. Hari is wrongly accused and is thrown out by the members of school trust. He replaced by Harry Oberoi (Milind Soman) who is more of a fixer from the cricket world than a coach. Hari is determined to form a cricketing eleven out of local corporation school wrestling team. With the hard work of local boys, and an excellent method of the coaching by Hari, this team defeats royal heritage in the final of state championship.
