Raji, a young girl gives birth to the illegitimate child of the evil zamindar of the village who eyes many such people. She along with her parents and child are taken away and got rid of, but she somehow survives and is separated from her child though she thinks her child is dead. A couple finds her on the way and brings her and adopts her. Years pass and she grows up. One day the zamindar’ son, the Chotobabu sees her and decides to marry her. A few days back 50 old village-women of Lalgarh were released on bail by police. These women were arrested for Maoist activities. We all gave seen those poverty stricken tribal women either in television or in the front page of newspapers.
