The fascinating part of this film lies in the fact that all the principal characters have been introduced through enchanting film melodies. The entire film is build up through isolated incidents revolving around principal characters ultimately culminating into a absorbing storyline. It resembles a collage of life meandering through various strata of emotion and passion.
All the actors have done a commendable job even though Soumitra Chatterjee as the psychiatrist,Sabyasachi Chakrabarty as writer Father Jacob, Saheb Chatterjee as Tito,Soumili Biswas as Dipa and Mumtaz Sorcar as Puja steal the show. The songs(six in number) are rejuvenating and imparts a fresh lease of life into this movie.Particular mention should be made of songs Ichhe Kore Char Dewaler Gondi Bhenge Chhute Jai(SHUBHOMITA),Tomake Bojhano Jabena(PROMITA)and Chhilo Opekshai bhaslobasha(Rupankar). The photography is excellent and the editing is crisp and sharp. The sound effects used in the movie have created a fascinating ambiance. It is a new way of telling a love story as never done before and is a must watch for movie lovers.
