Cluck cluck. He has this yen for a hen. And so for an entire reel, Happy Singh chases a murghi around those Punjab mustard fields. Hen flies, someone mentions butter chicken, Happy runs after hen again, breaks a TV set and demolishes everything in sight, particularly your patience. more

Most films can be divided into two broad categories - those that aim to entertain an audience, and those that have been produced with the sole purpose of making money. As far as I’m concerned, Singh Is Kinng is not so much a film as it is a clever money-making racket.more

One of the many scenes in Singh is Kinng that will make you squirm in your seat has Akshay Kumar peeing while seated. When a friend comes and sits beside him, Akshay turns to listen to him and so does his you-know-what, spraying his friend with you-know-what. Sic? No, say SIK for Singh is Kinngmore

Blame it on the charisma of Akshay Kumar, but Singh is Kinng is going to find its audience despite being a no-brainer. And, the audience isn't going to be just the Singhs, spilling across the globe. It's going to be people like us who are suckers for corny comedy that breeze across the screenmore

Singh Is Kinng' (SIK) has about five very funny scenes, one good action sequence and two good songs. If watching a two-hour plus film with these few entertaining scenes spread far between is your idea of a fun time, then SIK is the film for you.more
