He first wrote a jingle in the movie Nandanavanam 120 km, on Lord Krishna, and later in 2009 he started his career as lyricist in Telugu with the movie Sneha Geetam. In 2010 he wrote the title song 'Beja Beja Beja Beja Bejawada..' for Ram Gopal Varma's 'Bejawada Rowdeelu' that was released online. The song has become most popular in short time and the song is also known for its controversial words.
Apart from movies he is well known with his private songs. He wrote the title song for 'Lakshagalarchana', a Guinness Record event that was held at Hyderabad by Siliconandhra in May 2009.
His song "Rajasaaniki neevu nilayam" is listed to be the first elegy for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy in September 2009. The song relayed on all Telugu TV channels during the procession and funeral of YSR and became the most famous private song of the month.
He also writes songs in English. In 2005, he penned an English song, "Like the Sun that turns the heads of Sun Flowers", on the pride of India, that was performed by artistes in front of delegates from the Commonwealth of Nations in Hyderabad.
He published his first anthology of metrical verses in Telugu at the age of 16 with the title Sookti Satakiranaalu that comprises 100 padyams on social interest. Marchukovoyi Maanava Malina Manasu is the makutam in that satakam.
