I will be honest (as I strive to be honest in whatever I do) and admit that I went to watch this movie only for Chitrangda...Her last two films (Hazaaron..., and Kal) impressed me enough to believe that this movie would be worth a watch...and with no further knowledge of the other inputs (Boman-Shabana, the Director, Sharman etc.) I went in the cinema hall with low expectations.
I found the movie urban, evolved, witty and real.
The story is wierd, and slightly alienating if I was to describe it to someone, but the character of Bhavna is so real. She is bitchy yet innocent, confused yet strong-willed, happy yet dissatisfied...
Sanjay Suri didn't matter in the movie, it could've been anyone else, but Sharman delivered the role of the 'thoda idealistic, thoda buddhu' guy with absolute ease :)
For me the movie is definitely above average!
And while Sharman's dog may now fly (well it did in the movie), Boman and Shabana's chemistry (of Honeynoon Travel's fame?) took the cake!
