Sudesh Bhonsle is an accomplished Indian playback singer. He was born to N.R.Bhosle and Sumantai Bhosle. Sudesh had a natural gift for mimicry from an early age and he cultivated it at the behest of his friends in college. He is widely known for his ability to mimic Amitabh Bachchan.
While working in Hindustan lever Sudesh used to mimic actors like Amitabh Bacchan,Asrani, Omprakash,Ashok kumar and sing songs in Hemant Kumar ,SD Burmans voice. This is led him to
Kalyanji-Anandji group where he used to perform with them.Sudesh Bhonsle got his first major break in playback singing in the film Zalzala (1988). He used his talent for mimicry to become a professional dubbing artist for several artists like Sanjeev Kumar and Anil Kapoor.
But the turning point was "Jumma chumma de de" for him that brought him to top the status of playback singer for AMitabh Bacchan. He was the voice of Amitabh for many films like "Major saab", "Mrityudata","Lal Badshah" which were hits. he gave voice to actors like Kader khan,Anupam khe in their songs.
lately Sudesh was currently the producer and judge on K For Kishore a singing contest on Sony Entertainment
