The dreaded seven-year-itch is a phase of anxiety for any couple. After years of staying together, are there newer things to be discovered? What if one of the two is equipped, even if it is accidental, with power that threatens to bare all that’s on the mind? In a chapter of matrimony that is already confusing, destiny adds a sprinkle of exposure and a dash of spice. The result is hilarious – a harrowed couple, unexpected revelations and a test of trust. Sunglass is a satirical and comical look at the seven-year itch between a husband (R. Madhavan) and wife (Konkona Sen Sharma) and how their life turns topsy-turvy with the entry of what seems to be an ordinary pair of antique sunglasses. Will their matrimony bask in the sunlight or endure agony in the ‘shade’?
