Narender Thapa Magar
Born on 14th August 1984 she crooned her first number Ladki Diwani (Shastra) in 1994.
Her father is a minor theatre personality.
She won the mega final of Meri Awaaz Suno in 1996.
She has sung for over 2000 Hindi and regional language songs till date.
Her breakthrough was Ram Gopal Varma's film Mast, in which she sang the hit song, "Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi."
Her father, Dushyant Chauhan, was the first one to spot her talent and he moved to Mumbai with his entire family to develop her talent. They moved to the city of dreams and into music director Kalyanji 'bhai's Little Wonders troupe.
Sunidhi Chauhan started her singing career as a child, giving her first performance at the age of four, in a local temple in Delhi. Thereafter, she began to participate in and sing for competitions and local gatherings.
Sunidhi began performing when she was five. TV host Tabassum spotted her at a show and convinced the eight-year-old to give Mumbai a chance - to develop her talent. So Sunidhi moved to the city of dreams and into music director Kalyanji 'bhai's Little Wonders troupe, in which she was the lead singer.
Sandeep Chowtha's first film as a composer got an ideal virgin voice in Sunidhi and her song became the most memorable number in the film.
She won the R D Burman award for the most promising newcomer at the Filmfare Awards 2001.
