    Suraj Jagan is one of the pioneers of the Rock Music Movement in India. His singing career spans 20 years of experience which includes being part of very successful Rock Bands, Advertising Jingle Campaigns, Bollywood Playback & acting in Theater Productions & also in a Bollywood Film – Rock On.

    Suraj was born in Kerala. He has been singing and performing since 1987, but took time to get a break into playback singing. He has also been part of Rock bands like Krysys (1989-93), Matchbox (1993-95), Chakraview (1995-97), Spyrals (1997-99), AFS (2003), The Orchid Room Experiment (2006) and Dream Out Loud (2007-09).

    Suraj is the Winner of 'Stardust Award (2010) for New Musical Sensation - Male' for the song Give Me Some Sunshine - 3 Idiots which brought him into limelight. He has sung in as many as 14 languages including Kashmiri, Marathi, Bengali, Oriya, Gujarati, etc. He sung for Ilayaraja in Gautham Menon's next film, Neethane En Ponvasantham. He sung for Bengali film, Ami Superstar by Sujit Mondal and a Gujarati film, Kevi Rite Jaish.

    Jaa chudail number from Delhi Belly is one of his popular songs. He has also sung for the famous jingle, 'You and I in this beautiful world' for Vodafone brand. Recently, he sung the title song of Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam in 3 languages.
