    Highly Advanced!

We have seen many films related robotics, machines, human being turned into machines, machines ruled the world, and so on. The film “Surrogates” is exactly more or similar kind of story. The meaning of surrogate means “Substitute”; here it is the substitute of human kind and human beings into a robotic world. It’s a highly advanced story where it’s been telling us that what the world would be to us after 20, 30 or 50 yrs.

The story is very short, but gives a deeply impact to our human kind. People in United States of America are living in a peace with the help of a remotely of his own Robot clone. All the people, young, old, middle age, are staying at their home, in sleeping chair, and are roaming and doing their daily routine work with the help of their robotic clone. They can choose their robotic clone in any shape, size, what face do they want, what looks they want, what kind of figure they want, what kind of body they want, a male can be a replica of robotic female, a female can be a replica of male robotic, an old man can take as kid robot, and old lady can take as a smart, young, sexy female robotic. No matter whatever their originality may be, they can convert their clone robot into anything. And the story tells us that in this world all of them are staying at their homes, and their clone robots are doing all sought of their daily routine work. One man “The Prophet”, leader of some caste was against this “Clone Robotic Generation”. Now one fine day an unknown human being came up with some unknown and very danger weapon and killed two surrogates, one of them was the son of the maker who created such type of Robotics, Dr. Older Canter (James Cromwell). With regards to this FBI Investigative officer Tom Greer (Bruce Willis) with her associate JJ (Helena Mattson) came up to solve this mystery. Audience might think that this could be done by “The Prophet” but the real culprit is somebody else. Later on Tom Greer founds out that this isn’t himself as real Tom; he declined to live a robotic life and started to his journey to find the real culprit. His ultimate goal was give a new life to Human Kind and to end this Surrogates world.

This highly advanced movie is surely a must watch, but also facing some loopholes by which the overall movie suffers from some negative markings.

(Point no. 1.) If the story would stick on the main topic and would deliver us something action then I would guess it might be little more impressive than what it is now.

(Point no. 2.) Except for the unusual topic, you would find nearly about an Ok type of film till the mid-half.

And lastly (Point no. 3.); The overall storyline has many ups and downs, at some point of time you will get excited but at the other point of time you would feel bored.

On the whole the film is worth watching as it is really a thought provoking. “Surrogates” is a film that made me happy to be alive as I walked out and thought about it.
