    Asit is an old friend of Manmatha. Manmatha had lent his friend three thousand rupees. Manmatha was in need of the money and went to Asit asking him to return it. Asit refused to do so and drove him out. Out of desperation Manmatha comitted suicide. After a few days his wife also died. Before her death she wrote a letter to her son. Asit drives away Ajay from his house. Ajay finds shelter in Ramen's house, where he also gets educated. Sangita, Asits daughter loves Ajay. They want to get married but Asit does not consent to it. Yet Sangita goes to her 'swami-ghar'. Sumitra, Asits elder daughter marries Ramen who captures all of Asit's wealth and drives him away. Now Ajay provides Asit shelter. Sangita takes revenge on Ramen with Ajay's help. Ramen is arrested by the police. Sagar, Asit's son marries Puja. In the end Sangita returns from her swami-ghar and Asit realises that Ajay is a good man.
