Music Review Of "Talaash" By Sumit Sharma.
It's one of Bollywood's Most Awaited Films of 2012, There is no doubt that when Aamir Khan’s name is associated with a film, the expectations from the film sky-rocket and Talaash is no exception to these expectations. Delhi Belly, Satyamev Jayate (TV show) and now Talaash, Ram Sampath is continuously giving very fresh and stunning music for Aamir. The album is full of fresh, scrumptious and susceptive tracks.
A Big Hit!
1. Album starts with a soft-rock and jazz-tinged "Muskaanein Jhooti Hai" grotesquely rendered by Suman Sridhar. Yes! Suman Sridhar is back after two very popular and well-turned songs Khoya Khoya Chand and Hawa Hawai - Shaitan(remix song by Mikey McCleary) It's a fully jazz blues harmonious track, soft beats, seductive melody and evincive lyrics creates perfect enviroment of jazz bartender song. Spiral delineation of the song with tincture of thrilling feel and Javed Akhtar's engrossing lyrics easily incline your mind towards the suspensory zone of the song brilliantly created by Ram Sampath. A surpassing start for the album!
2. The sanguine sensate with emotive and hearty written lyrics takes the album to another level in next track "Jee Le Zaraa" sung by Vishal Dadlani. A very sonorous and humble melody by Ram Sampath, Vishal's euphonic vocals and breezy voice texture is the exceptional part of the song, he beautifully crafted the track with his implausible singing skills. Very soulful lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar on soft musical arrangements with light drum kicks and pleasing music of piano. A truly magnificent composition. Must Listen!
3. Bedardi Raja, Mujhe Kya Bechega Rupaiya, Ghar Yaad Aata Hai Mujhe and Chanda Pe Dance and now "Jiya Lage Na", it is Sona Mohapatra's another emphatic song for Ram Sampath. A fast beat semi- classical track with phrenetic loops and abstinent lyrics very expressively rendered by Sona Mohapatra & Ravindra Upadhyay. Song deservedly tells the susceptibilities and tender situation, nice synchronization of drum, tabla and effects used to give desired pace at different phases. Nice!
4. Now we have a track that thoroughly suits on the enigmatic story of Talaash "Hona Hai Kya" primely sung by Ram Sampath. It's a fast beat track with high tempo and blend of isolated effects. Javed Akhtar's irritant lyrics nicely elucidate curiosity of forthcoming thrill. Flanging on Ram Sampath's vocals strikingly erupts with collaboration of snappy beats, he has done superb job. A germane situational track. Nice!
5. "Laakh Duniya Kahe" sung by Ram Sampath, a soft rock ballad track with subtle and soft melody. Javed Akhtar's entrancing lyrics melodiously crafted on this supple melody. Light drum kicks and soft electric guitar perfectly cherished, Ram Sampath euphoniously rendered the song. Song described the feel of remembrance or the feeling of missing someone, a very heart touching and transcendent track, Inexpressible. Recommended!
