Jamindar Ramsashi Babu's elder daughter Kamala considered herself 'Sita' as she was never happy in her family life since her marriage. Kamala's husband Bipul's father Durgashankar promised not bring home her daughter-in-law as long as his son would pass the BA. Bipul could not pass the BA in four attempts and for that reason Kamala could not go to her father-in-law's house since her marriage. Kamala's younger sister Binati's college mate was Kity. Binati was waiting for her marriage with Kity's elder brother Samir. Binati made a plan to invite Kity and her elder brother Samir to their house so that she could request Samir to come to their village house. Binati and Samir discussed the plan for a long time and it was decided that at the moment she would get the cable, Kamala would go to Kolkata. Kamala's father Ramsashi was a simple man. Though he considered the secret union of husband and wife was an unjust action, but he remained silent due to the pressure of his younger daughter. Bipul rented a room in Biswabandhu Hotel as his study was hampered in his house. As per previous plan Samir and Binat rented the adjacent room two rooms. And then receiving the cable Kamala also reached there. Incidentally Durgashankar went to bring his daughter-in-law and was informed that Kamala had gone to Calcutta. Durgashankar became so angry that he decided for his son's second marriage. Bipul and she was not in a position to consider herself as Sita anymore.
