Jai Mittal (John Abraham) is a careless and Casanova son of a rich businessman (Akash Khurana), who has recently passed away. His father’s close friend Arjun Bajaj has acted on his father’s will and transferred all property and money. Jai has another will locked in a safely vault, and on his birthday, he has to produce the same at the court.
The night before, he has a small accident in his car, and thus has to hire a taxi on the D-Day. The taxi driver is Raghav Shastry (Nana Patekar), an angry man, who has hidden his identity (of a Taxi-driver) from his wife (Sonali Kulkarni) and son.
As Jai nags Raghav and asks him to speed his way to the vault, an accident takes place. Instead of taking responsibility, Jai flees from the spot, but soon realizes that the key to the vault is left in the car, and now, with Raghav. Thus these two men start playing a cat-n-mouse chase. Both of them embarrass the other in front of their loved ones. Do Jai and Raghav manage to achieve something on this day? Do they lose more or gain more?
