A story on a village girl Koni. Who transforms from a tomboyish girl to a married woman who is serious and quiet.
Her relationship with childhood friend and next door neighbour Amal, her pranks on him and subsequent situations and her father’s disliking for Amal.
Meanwhile they drift apart, Amal goes abroad for higher studies and Koni gets married.
After a long time, Amal returns from abroad and they come across each other on an occasion and reminisces about their childhood. Amal is yet to marry. They meet again but it only leaves only tears in their eyes as their marriage is an impossible task.
Story about Binu, a young lady whose life journey is surrounded by illness in a young age. As per doctor, she will not survive more than 2 years. He advised her to change her surroundings which might bring relief.
She sets out with her husband and her world revolves around him. This is her first contact with the outside world and also her first train journey. She is moved by the poverty she sees around. Being pious, she helps the poor children she meets on a train journey.

Nalin is a young commercial artist. One day he meets Kamala in tram and falls in love with her.
To know more about Kamala, he takes support of his friend Apurva who is well known to Kamala’s family. Apurva informs him that Kamala with her family is going to Darjeeling for a summer vacation but he cannot meet her. While returning, he gets a Camelia flower seed from a friend’s sister.
Nalin reaches Ghatshila in search of Kamala and meets a santhal girl named Mungli there. One day he sees Kamala with another man. Meanwhile the seed blooms into a beautiful Camelia flower and he wants to give the flower to Kamala. So he calls Mungli and sees that she has tuck the flower on her ears and is looking gorgeous.
