Kabir (Abhishek Bachchan) is a happy-go-lucky video photographer, who considers himself the second best thing in Agra after Taj Mahal. While shooting a wedding, he bumps into Pooja (Kirti Reddy) who has come to attend her friend's wedding. Through a series of affairs, Kabir falls in love with Pooja, although Pooja just considers him a good friend. When Pooja returns to Mumbai to resume her Job, her boss Mr. Oberoi (Kader Khan) informs her that she is fired because of her indiscipline and late-coming. Maggi (Johnny Lever), Pooja's colleague comes to her rescue and lies to Mr. Oberoi that Pooja got late because she is engaged to a certain Kabir from Agra. Mr. Oberoi cancels her termination and is happy for her. Trouble brews when Kabir comes to Mumbai searching for Pooja and bumps into Mr. Oberoi. Pooja then requests Kabir to pretend as if they are really engaged. Kabir happily agrees thinking Pooja is taking interest in him. Meanwhile, Mr. Oberoi's son Raj (Sanjay Suri) returns from Abroad, and sweeps Pooja off her feet. Pooja and Raj come close, while Kabir sees his first love going away from him. But Kabir certainly wont leave any stones unturned to get Pooja's love. Will he manage to do that?
