    My Rating

    • Romantic but not Impressive!

Teri Meri Kahaani music rating: 6 out of 10(suhail wrote on May 18 2012 1:28AM)

MUKHTASAAR (Wajid): The magic of this song will grasp you tovards itself and it will become one of your favourites if you love romantic genre. wajid has carried this song so impressively and the music is a powerful part of this song. The beats, piano tunes and random clicks are very hasty and striking. Lyrics are beautiful! A short story is described so purely. One of the best songs by sajid-wajid compositions. CHARTBUSTER is written all over it!

ALLAH JAANE (Rahat Fateh Ali Khan): A romantic track sung by rahat fateh ali khan. Soft numbered and very unique of its type. Song describing the start of love . Prasoon joshi is steppingup with each of his superb writing skills. Rahat does his best with allah jaane . Somewhat same like 'rabba main to mar gaya re-mausam'. Another generous track of the album. Music is simple and nice! LOVELY number. "is baat ko maula jaane,is baat ko allah jaane. . . . . . . . "

JAB SE MERE DIL KO (Sonu Nigam & Sunidhi Chauhan): An 80's track,as per script requirement in the movie. Sajid-wajid are quite successful in delivering that typical genre. Sonu and sunidhi suits best as per. The music is of same old fashioned taste.

HUMSE PYAAR KARLE (Wajid, Mika, Shabir Bro & Shreya Ghoshal): A touch of 90's feel. A descent track. Sherya impresses at a lot. Mika's versatile voice and wajid's skilful singing makes this song simply-ENJOYABLE. Fine music and vocals from S-W. Humse pyaar karle tu is a mixture of romance and dancing track!

THATS ALL I REALLY WANT (Shaan & Shreya Ghoshal): Sajid-wajid returns will their typical compositions identical of HOUSEFULL - 'right now', 'do you know' songs. A romantic song. Shaan returns after a while. An AVERAGE track this time!.

OVERALL-Sajid-Wajid succeeds in making a track-list that features the genre of movie. One or two songs will charm you with their elegance otherwise rest are average. Another 'MAUSAM' for shahid.

RECOMMENDED SONGS - Mukhtasar, Allah Jaane, Humse pyaar karle.
