The Film is about the proportions ambitions can reach. Aditya, Ankita, Nandini, Vijay, Sushmita, Raman and Irfan are a group of youths with a common ambition – joining the
Bombay film industry. Their efforts are thwarted multiple times by circumstances under the guise of corruption that rules the world of Bollywood – the appointments given to them are not met, promises made are broken.
At this juncture a journalist friend of Sushmita’s educates her about the mafia don, Shameembhai’s influence in Bollywood and how a connection with him can be of help. This is further exemplified when Vijay who works as an assistant director to K K Dutta becomes a witness to Shameem’s powers of extortion.
The septenary hit upon a plan and demand Rs. 10 crore from a diamond merchant, Sharad in the name of Shameembhai. On the day of the delivery of the booty, they wear masks to hide their identities. However they also come under police notice in the act. Though they tread carefully, the police chase them.
First Irfan gets caught and killed by a group of gangsters. The discovery of Irfan’s dead body leads the police to the remaining six members. They flee from their paying guest accommodation and take refuge in Raman’s mentor’s house. However, four of them are killed one by one. Nandini is filled with remorse and on her way to the police station to confess her guilt, she is stabbed to death. Vijay is shot dead in am ambush with the police. A similar fate meets Ankita. Raman’s death becomes one of accident.
At the end there is a sudden twist in the story and there is the revelation that it was Sushmita who was the hand behind all these deaths. She reveals it all to Aditya and then silences him. Her motive for doing this – realizing her dream and not compromising on her ambition.
