When I came out of the theatre at around 12:15 pm I was afraid to walk in dark. If that was any indication of the movie I watched then definitely the director has done a fne job
Stoneman Murders which is based on a true incident mixed with fiction has surely hit the right notes. The ambience created by the film-maker does keep you hooked till the end. Even the suspense at the end is well defined and one does not feel dissappointed after the climax..

An insightful and realistic journey into one of India's unresolved crime cases: a serial killing that claimed many lives in Mumbai and Kolkata in the 80s. Well researched and armed with some power packed performances, Stoneman Murders instantly brings the believability, a rare phenomenon in the genre of thriller in Hindi cinemas.

This movie is entirely ruled by Kay Kay Menon. I thought his performance was exemplary in what is a rather ordinary movie. Although the movie kept me hooked, trying to fathom the identity of the murderer, the ending was rather dour and unrealistic. Thankfully, I didn't have to endure any song and dance routine. It is watchable, provided you're not spending big bucks in one of the more expensive movie theaters in town. » read more

    A 'Whodunnit' after Eons...

Today, every genre of our films is redefined and presented in a new way. But Murder Mystery is one genre which is not dealt with much often in the recent past. Hence, With ‘The Stoneman Murders’, One gets to see after a long time a true-blue Whodunnit mystery flick and that in itself is quite a redeeming factor about the film.

The film revolves around a real-life series of events that occurred somewhere in mid 80s. Sanjay (Kay Kay Menon), a member of the Crime Branch gets suspended due to an accidental murder in his custody. ... » read more
