You have a fight with your boyfriend and you decide to spend the night with him at his summer house. Obviously, there is some awkwardness, as he just proposed to you and you are not ready. So, the place is just in middle of nowhere and suddenly, the guy has to leave to get a cigarette. Guys, can you believe this? Isn't anyone listening to health warnings? So, the beautiful girl stays alone in the house and she has company. Some 3 of them. Three people with motive hidden behind their masked faces are out to get her. Initially, they just taunt her...now, you see them and now you don't. Once, they are knocking on the door, and next moment, they are inside. So, are these like ghosts? Well, not really...or, it's not clear. The guy comes back, gets his car banged in the driveway, goes looking for help and is somewhere lost in the middle while the adventure of his girl friend continues. Funny thing is...the strange people don't talk or demand any thing. Till the last scene, you don't even see them together. In the middle, one of the guy's friend enters the scene and gets killed by accident. It's like a game. So, after lots of cat and mouse situations...the movie reaches the obvious end at dawn. The 3 visitors of the night drive away. Mission accomplished. It's a new day.
If you like watching people terrified beyond their wits and to hold to your seat or get scared in anticipation of what happens next....don't miss the movie. You will get enough thrill, your money's worth. I watched it on Sunday morning, low ticket prices. Got double my money's worth. It's definitely, miles ahead of "Phoonk" genre of Indian thrillers.
