Rush the train before you miss it!
Tony Scott, a director who had made cult films like “Top Gun”, “Beverly Hills Cop2”, “Déjà vu”, and etc and etc and etc. Who the fool would be one would miss-out this film. Start-End, the most thrilling experience you would ever get after watching this tremendous film.
The film is all about a train hijacking. The film is all about the two people “Walter Garber” (Denzel Washington) & Ryder (John Travolta). A two hour film will rock your seat with the high speed of the Pelham 123.
Yes, the story is all about this train Pelham 123, which is getting hijacked by the psycho man called “Ryder”. He and his three other associates had stopped this train in some tunnel with bunch of hostages trapped inside. He demanded a ransom of 100million dollar in just 2hr or else in every count of 1min 1hostage will be shot to dead. Now when Ryder hijacked the train, he was assigned with the operator in the main office called “Walter Garber”. Psycho Rider started liking him as a friend and only wanted to deal with Garber from start-end, no matter whoever authority from the Mayor side would come online. And rest, the visual story would be far more recommended to experience that thrill in your senses rather than this verbal story.
Out-standing performances given by Denzel Washington and John Travolta. Editing and Cinematography were the most impressive action done by the crew members. Climax was little bit of weak in comparison with the effect given to us from the film start to end. Also I felt some of the twists and turns were loosely written, and it can be made much better than what it was.
Considering the pluses and minuses of the film, it can rate as 3.5 out of 5.
