    Unusual but Touching Love story…

Story adapted by the famous bestselling novel written by “Audrey Niffenegger” and directed by the very talented Director “Robert Schwentke” who had just directed 5-6 films up till now and had already won 3 awards and nominated for one time, has given us this quite unusual but very touching love story.

This is the story of one man “Henry” (Eric Bana) who has some genetic problem in his body by which habitually he just disappear without his clothes, and traveled through time, sometimes in past, sometimes in future or sometimes from one place to another place, regarding by not remembering anything when he travel in his past or future (except for his disease, which he is very familiar of it when he was very young), he just only remember things and situations when he travel from one place to another place in the current scenario.

Now one fine day Eric went in to future and met one small girl, “Clare Abshire” (Rachel McAdams) in a garden who she helped him by some clothes. Eric explained her that he is a Time Traveler guy and travel through time. The little girl Clare somehow believed that guy and became friends thereafter. Later on as the time passed, Clare and Eric met frequently and Clare was being in love with Eric since then. When Clare was grown up as a teen she just encountered with Eric accidently in one Library. At one point of time Eric didn’t recognized Clare, as he might be travelling from past or future, but Clare explained him everything. Eric then believed him and soon they both fell in love with each other. Clare and Eric got married knowingly by Clare that Eric has this type of genetically disease, as they both were deeply in love with each other. As the time was passed, Clare was very frustrated with her life because she was not able to accept to live life alone, as Eric was disappearing anytime and was coming back at any point of time, after few months also. Soon Clare gave a birth to child. Eric and Clare’s daughter was also genetically affected by his father, but she was advanced as she can control her time travelling. She can only travel when she is willing to, but in the case of Eric, it was not that way. Now one fine day as Eric was travelling in future, he just met his daughter when she was nearly about 10, and from her he got to knew that he will die when she will be at the age of 5. He came back in present and this news somehow known to Clare. She was broken into pieces and everybody was hoping that day would not come, but it came and Eric was died.

The narration of the story was superbly done by “Robert Schwentke”. The flow of the story was a little bit slow, but at the end you will feel nice about the movie. What worth watching was the climax; how Eric knew that he was dying; how Clare and their daughter got to knew what was the date when the man of the house if going to be die; and at the end how Eric died in front of everybody; and finally how Eric again came back from some past, in that same garden, where her daughter was playing and his wife Clare came down running for just to meet him, hug him, and kiss him once.

A must watch this quite unusual but a very touching movie, for all the couples out there.

    I would rate: 3.5 / 5
