This Was It!
I was wondering what kind of docu movie it would be. Would be it be only about MJ? Would it be about their team people? Would it be how he grown up as a successful person? Would it be how his fans love him? What it would be? What the movie would tell you at the end? What…What…and What Not! I would say, what not the movie haven’t said to you about MJ!
Almost less than 2hrs this documentary movie will just say to you just two things, (1) How Michael was when he was at the rehearsal/practice session, and (2) How Michael was from heart.
Before watching this movie I was having little bit of expectations that this movie would be of how MJ became from Zero to Hero, how he struggled, what people were saying about him – good-bad, and when he died what the world was going through, the people said bad about him what were their reactions, the people who had said good about him what were their reactions, and just so on as just “He lived like a Legend, became Legend, still now Legend, and will be forever ‘The Legend’…”
But it was not! From start to end, the movie simply entertains you. The movie will show you how MJ was performing at the time of rehearsal or practice session. His passion, his dedication, his team works, his planning, his behavior with co-players, attitude on working each and every detail, his moves, his vocal singing, his style, he is just everything and he is just perfect.
The movie will also tell you that when he was on the stage, then each and every working people there would just feel his energy and automatically the level of energy would be higher by just of his presence. He was creating magic everywhere. When he dances, not only he, but the chorus singers, live musicians, on the stage off the stage, everybody was dancing, everybody was making a unique step. Now that’s the magic!
Everybody was saying “You can’t fool Michael”. He just knows everything and anything. From the beat of every musical instrument, from the tune of the every vocal chord, from management to planning, from visual effects to sound department, from camera to light department, just name it and he knows how to fix it, how to work it, and how to handle with it. Now that’s called perfection!
What I loved most about the movie is the present of style. As the movie started, various genres or themes have been showed us, that in how many different kind of genres have they worked for. They have showed us romantic version, action version, thriller, solo romantic, couple romantic, global warming version, and so on. I also liked the way the director had given the importance to the musician’s department. My favorite was the lead guitarist “”Orianthi”, she was ‘Awesome’, not just be her looks, but the way she was playing and enjoying with her guitar. Also I like when MJ and one of her vocal singer player were singing “I just can’t stop loving you”. They both sung very well and at the final when shows his talent by singing that line in several different tones, high pitch, low pitch, smooth pitch, rough pitch, and just so on and on and on. That was “The Awesome”. That proves he is…so talented.
At the end what I liked most is the Global Warming theme. Its message, its visuals, everything was so impressive. And what I didn’t like was the falling of my expectations. I think if that would have been shown then the movie would be more watchable and more interesting. But I guess that was something Director was not looking for. People already know that, how he got success in his life and how he is as human being. But I guess this also many people know, how he performs at rehearsals and how he is at work.
Anyways, what was worth watching and worth feeling was the inner intension what Michael was having inside his heart. “Always be Calm, be Cool, and Spread Love”. The same what Mother Teresa was saying, Gandhiji was telling. No matter what people may say, but MJ surely was an “Angel”. He died but he inspired a million of people. Because of him, many people can buy bread for their family. Many people can earn something. He taught many things by his spoken words and also by not so spoken words, to just many people who were working with him and also who were not working with him. I just love him.
MJ is MJ and he will be MJ!
Rating for this movie: 3 / 5 & for MJ – 5/5
