This film is more of like a comeback for all the cast and crew members. Tabu came after a long time; her last film was “Cheeni Kum” which was released in 2007. Ayub khan as her husband came in a film after about 2yrs; his last film was some B grade or something “Pehli Nazar Ka Pyaar” (2008). Again now Vatsal Seth, he came in “Paying Guest” which was released last year at 2009. And the lead actress Yuvika Cahudhry has just done two films. In Om Shanti Om she was just a side character, came for few mins; and next in Summer 2007 which was released in 2008. All except Sharman Joshi, made their comeback with their high expectations in this film. Not only are the artists, even the Writer and the Director of the movie are very fresh. Director Kedar Shinde made his debu with this film, Story writer Pramod Sharma lastly written a story of a film called Balwaan in 1992 starring Suniel Shetty and Divya Bharti and the Screenplay & Dialogue writer Vibha Singh has just done two films, Bal Ganesh 2 (2009) and Summer 2007 (2008).
Though the Writer and Director are fresh and the actor and actress are also not so popular, but still they all managed to keep the smile on the viewers face atleast.
Story of the film is quite oldies style, but the screenplay is a bit interesting and speedy.
Tabu is looking for a dulha for her sister Yuvika dulhaniya. Sharman is a student studying in engineering college, as he was very good boy, Tabu was kind of interested in that boy. And so she gave him a room on a rent at her house. Slowly-Slowly Sharman and Yuvika both fell in love with each other. Tabu fixed a marriage between them. But now the entry came of Vatsal Seth, he was having a good job in a good company and in a month or so company was giving him a house also. Tabu changed her mind and decided to fix a marriage with Yuvika and Vatsal. Sharman felt cheated by Tabu and decided that this marriage won’t be happen.
And this continues till the end where the climax came and settled down with all’s well that ends well name plate. The first mid was ok and everything was going with the same old oldies style. But after the interval the film took up some speed and then the movie was kind of worth watching. And for this the only credit goes to Sharman Joshi. The way he performed after in the interval was outstanding.
1. The major was the new attempt done by the fresher’s Writer and the Director.
2. Performance by Sharman.
3. Some about funny screenplay after the interval.
4. And last but least, the last hooking dialogue by Sharman which gave a big smile and laugh to the audiences before leaving the theatre.
5. Music and Background score were Ok as compared with expectations.
1. Old story, plus loose story and screenplay before the interval.
Although the film is only watchable after interval, but still on the whole there are no over dramatic scenes, no lousy dialogues, no loose performance by all. Overall, a good film with no expectations.
