Rajeshwari (Tabu) is the friendly neighbourhood cupid. Atleast where her sister, Nisha, is concerned.

She is married to Vinay (Ayub Khan), who works at a bank, and they have two kids to complete their family. She wants her sister to settle down too and embarks on her mission with single-minded determination.

Rahul (Sharman Joshi) catches her eye. She takes him in as a paying guest. He is a great catch except he has no plans to marry and she starts scheming on how to make him change his mind. Soon, Nisha and Rahul fall in love and want to get married.

Rajeshwari meets Yuvvraj (Vatsal Seth) who is better than Rahul. Now she tries to separate Nisha and Rahul. But Rahul is wise to her tricks and has some tricks of his own.
