  • A fabulous movie

Triyatri rating: 10 out of 10(Shalini Lal wrote on 13 Oct 2012)

One movie that is pure delight for kids and adults alike, this one takes us across the length and breadth of India, from colorful Rajasthan( the home state of Surya) to the splendid southern India....ruins of Hampi in Karnataka and forested plantations of Kerala. And adventures also have challenges thrown in between as the three friends, Ravi, Adi and Surya find out on a cycle tour to Kanyakumari (from Mumbai).
They first visit Hampi and meet a friendly Dara Singh who they assume is a kidnapper.

One of their cycles gets stolen while they are having lunch at some roadside eatery. Not wanting to return without completing the tour, the kids decide to work and buy another cycle from their earnings. They find work at a horse stable and after hard work, buy the cycle.

Finally they reach Kanyakumari, realising that not getting admission in the college of their choice is not important anymore (the reason they embarked on the journey when Utpal Dutt, Ravi's grandfather challenges them to do this instead of sitting at home cribbing about this).

Adi's parents call saying he has got admission in a university abroad and they realise that they will get separated soon.

However, on returning back to Mumbai, the three decide to stay together and study in whichever college they get admission. And in a happy twist of fate, they get admission int he very college they wanted to study in.

A movie that delights us with the travel, friendship and the unique adorable perspectives it teaches throughout.
