      Melody Reigns Supreme Once Again

Tum Hi To Ho music rating: 10 out of 10

The basic essence of Indian film music was always melody but sadly this major element is found seldom in today's contemporary compositions. But we can take a momentary sigh of relief as ace composer duo Anand Milind came out with an album which basically highlights melody packaged with modern arrangement. Sounds interesting, isn't it! The duo (Anand Milind) has always advocated melody in their compositions rather than anything else. And look what they have come up with, ...» read more

My review of Tum Hi Toh Ho

This album comes from the duo of Anand Milind, after a real long wait. Do Anand Milind deliver the goods with Tum Hi To Ho.. Read on

The album starts off with Dil Ne Tere Dil Se, vocals by Udit and
Sadhana. A composition which immediately connects with all age groups,
simply because of the sheer melody, the notes are built around and
secondly the honey dipped vocals of Shreya ably supported by Udit.

The silence is over and Anand-Milind delivers melodious music yet again.
The album starts with 'Dil ne mere dil se.. ’, sung by Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghoshal. This song straightway takes the listener to the bygone era of melodious music, of 90's. Udit’s voice has always complimented AM’s compositions and yes, I too am missing Sadhana Sargam here. Nevertheless, Shreya Ghoshal sings beautifully as always.
The next song 'Rock you baby', sung by Aroon Bakshi and a ...» read more

My family and me have listened to the music of Tum Hi To Ho innumerable times since the time it has been released. Soulful music and not noise (which is a blessing). Wish we get to hear more and more music from the duo in the times to come. May their glory reach far and wide. Hope the music of Tum hi to ho is just one more step ahead, want Anand Milind to go surpass their talent which everyone got a feel of when they gave music to Qayamat se qayamat tak, dil, beta, sangeet... ...» read more

      Tum hi to ho:

When the music started i sat up thinking good music and on top of it the song is sung by Abhijit, so the expectations were sky high. But, somehow i could not connect with mr.abhijit's singing. becoz, u know he has given such beautiful songs like badi mushkil hai, kahin to milegi, chandni raat hai... etc. with AM. Mayb, AM wanted to try a different kind of song with Abhijit, and we as listeners are so used to the soft romantic and melodious songs from ...» read more

      Melody is back

Tum Hi To Ho music rating: 10 out of 10

The music scenario in bollywood has changed drastically in the past 4-5 years. Music gradually started out loosing melody and its dependency on funky and groovy rhythms started increasing.

In such an unfavorable scenario, music of Tum hi to ho brings relief to melody lovers of today. The music of the movie has been composed by Anand Milind. Surprising, isn't it? The brilliant composer duo who got lost somewhere along with the melody in music are back. With the music ...» read more

The kings of melody are back once again with a melodious album and some rhythmic music.
Yes, Anand Milind, my favourite musicians are back with a beautiful music album. 'Tum Hi To Ho' has 6 songs in all.

My favourite is 'Aye Khuda Dard e Gum' sung by Kunal and Gayatri Gunjawala. This is a beautiful slow melodious song sung beautifully by Kunal and Gayatri. The verses of this song have been composed beautifully with melody all the way and the poetry too is great, ...» read more

I have been a huge Anand-Milind fan and was waiting to hear their new compositions. So when this album hit the stands, I predictably went and grabbed a copy. Let me be candid. Even if I was not an A-M fan, I'd still give this album a BIG thumbs up. Clearly Tum Hi To Ho does not boast of big names (except Jackie Shroff, Anand-Milind and the playback singers). The lead pair is new and so are the makers. But as far as the music goes, one listen and you know that Anand-Milind ...» read more
