    Vampires love story…

Have you ever heard like Witches are falling in love, Dracula’s are falling in love, Ghost’s love story; you guys must have seen them “making love” rather than “falling in love”. And these things would be so common in our Ramsay’s films. But “Twilight” is the story of about one Vampire, who falls in love with a human normal girl. Actually, when I was watching this movie, I just recalled our old Hindi film, “Junoon” (1992), starring Pooja Bhatt & Rahul Roy. Where Rahul Roy is not a vampire, but turning into some tiger and kills people to savage his thirst.

Anyways, the story of the movie is very simple and goes like this. There are two kinds of Vampires in the film, the bad one and the good one. The good one eats people only when they have died, as they have humanity inside them; and the bad one first kill people and then they ate them. The city was in heavy news that many people are killing by one unnamed unknown animal in a very deadly manner. Now one Police Officer and his daughter have been shifted to this city. The girl “Bella Swan” (Kristen Stewart) is been admitted newly in the college. Her nature was quite confusing, not interested in making more friends, prefer to stay alone, and somewhat like a shy and silent girl. In that college, one family “Cullen” family was very much famous of their richness and for their privacy, as they would only talk within themselves. They were the sons and daughter in law of the famous “Dr. Carlisle Cullen” (Peter Facinelli). They were the good vampires, but nobody in the city knew this secret. In this family, one boy name “Edward Cullen” (Robert Pattinson) was single and not so talkative in nature, just like Bella. They both attracted each other, but later Edward was ignoring her because of his truth. Then some Hindi style drama, Edward saves Bella from accident and from night goons. Bella fell in love with him, but because of the reason of being ignored, she started some researched and googled on him, and later she found out the truth that he was a Vampire. She accepted it, said this to Edward, he also was very happy that Bella knows everything, and both were strongly committed to one another and were strongly in love with each other. Edward tell her the entire past about him, introduces to his family, and the story moves on. But the story is not ended here. Somehow, the bad vampires came to know that the good vampires have the fresh snack with him. And the fight begins with the good vampires and the bad vampires.

“Twilight” is a very unique love story, which I guess somebody will like and somebody will not. The story and presenting the story style was good but can’t be said as outstanding or mind blowing. What was lacking is that somewhere something was being stretched. Direction, Music and overall was also good. CGI effects were something impressive. And what was more impressive was the climax scene, the fight between the good vampires and the bad vampires. Performances by the entire cast were convincing, especially by Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart, they both just performed quite well. The chemistry, the love which was shown in between two was also convincing.

This film is for those people who are bored from our same old bloody and rainy love stories, and are seeking for something different. After watching the whole movie, you would definitely wait for his next saga, “New Moon”.
