Jayanta Banerjee was a good violin player who loved children. Little children came to his place everyday to listen to stories and the violin. One day Jayanta took the children and went for a picnic and told them through a story that it is possible to get back lost things. A little girl Titul who did not know her father's identity believed the story and escaped from the group and went in search of her father. When she was discovered, she was physically a little unstable. Jayanta called for a doctor. In the meanwhile Rajat Sen, a police officer went to that place and recognised Jayanta. After investigations he confirmed that Jayanta was a murderer. He then informed the police station. Titul's mother Dipa also called up the police station and recognised Jayanta. She and Jayanta were childhood lovers but Dipa's marriage had been arranged with someone else. Dipa had tried to tell this to him but Jayanta was not in a position to understand. Dipa escaped from the scene and Jayanta confessed to the police that he had murdered Dipa. This of course was not the truth. Dipa was alive and Titul was Jayanta's daughter.
